FILM PHOTOGRAPHY: CHANIA, GREECE

Well and truly… Post cards from Greece.

I documented this little holiday on iPhone and on my newly repaired Contax T2 and used Kodak Ektar 100 film. First time using my Contax since 2013 and well using this film ever. I’m happy with this roll considering I wasn’t sure what I was expecting. Anyways…. more about the holiday!

We did quite a lot on our six day holiday, we flew to Chania and kept that as our base, we stayed in a beautiful apartment in a fantastic location. Literally close to everything, shops, restaurants and bars. We rented a car and ventured out on day trips, which were stunning (thanks Harry for planning these and for driving). Some highlights were Balos Beach and lagoon and Seitan Limania, breathtaking views of them both before stepping on to the beach! For drinking we loved Sinagogi Open Air bar and Boulevard.

We did some hiking to some beautiful beaches and went to some places only assessable by boat, which felt very cool. Ate some incredible Greek food, which for me isn’t a regular occurrence unfortunately. I can’t wait to go back to Greece, such a great holiday destination.
